Meet the Owner
Dr. Tanoory, or Jason as he prefers to be addressed by his patients and staff, moved to Canandaigua in 2001. After associateships in Philadelphia, PA, Rochester, NY and Penn Yan, NY, he opened Finger Lakes Dental Care in 2002.
Dr. Jason received his higher education at the University of Dayton in Ohio. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. He earned an Advanced Education in General Dentistry degree at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY. Dr Jason has a passion for continuing education. The spectrum of this advanced education ranges from cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, endodontics, and dental implant placement to denture therapy and sedation dentistry. Dr. Jason has received a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. He also has a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Jason is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Family Dentistry, the Monroe Dental Society, the Sedation Dentistry Association, Congress of Oral Implantology, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Jason has given lectures and assistance to educate fellow dentists on various topics, including practice management and clinical skills. He has had several articles published in local newspapers, dental magazines, periodicals and dental websites. In addition to helping and educating others in the field of dentistry, he is also active in the community, providing education on various dental topics at local businesses, retirement and senior homes, as well as presenting at primary schools throughout the Finger Lakes.
Dr. Ali Ghorbani Gazar
DDS
Dr. Ali Ghorbani Gazar received his DDS from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. He then moved to Rochester for post-doctoral training and completed a two-year general practice residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center where he gained extensive training in various aspects of general dentistry.

Dr. Ali Sullivan grew up in Central New York before her dental training and residency. Dr. Ali focuses on restorative and pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Celeena, a Rochester, NY native, earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University at Buffalo and completed her residency at Erie County Medical Center. As a member of several dental associations, she is dedicated to providing a comfortable and gentle experience for every patient.

Dr. Kami is a Canandaigua native, who completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo and now serves patients at Finger Lakes Dental in Canandaigua, NY.

As an orthodontist, Dr. Leah blends her analytical and creative skills to craft personalized treatment plans, emphasizing that there’s no “one size fits all” approach. Born and raised in Rochester, she graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and continues to teach part-time at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health.

She graduated from Miami University in Ohio, received her dental degree from the University at Buffalo, and completed her General Dentistry Residency at Millard Fillmore Hospital before pursuing extensive continuing education through the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study.
