Meet Dr. Kami Sobey

The Professional Side
Dr. Kami was born and raised in Canandaigua, NY. After graduating from Canandaigua Academy, Kami earned a BS in Biology from the University of Rochester. She then worked for several years in sales, customer service and in health care before going back to school to pursue an advanced degree. As a married adult with children, Kami earned a master’s degree in Nutrition Science from the University at Buffalo, followed by a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. She then completed a General Practice Residency at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. At Finger Lakes Dental Care, Dr. Kami specializes in sedation dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction, and implant-supported dentures.
Kami is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the NYS Dental Society, as well as the Seventh District Dental Society.
The Personal Side
Kami and her husband, Whit, live in Canandaigua with their three children; Avery, Harper and Wilo. Kami and Whit are avid skiers and love being outside with their kids, enjoying all four seasons of the beautiful Finger Lakes region.
