Jess Mashewske

Lab Lead

Jess joined Finger Lakes Dental Care in February of 2022, taking over as our Dental Lab Manager. Jess has been in the dentistry field since 2014, when she started as a patient service representative and then transitioned to lab work two years later. She's passionate about teeth and helping patients find their smiles again, and she looks forward to changing lives here in her hometown community. Jess was born and raised in Canandaigua and only left for her time in college at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where she studied Graphic Design. Jess has one son and currently resides in the town of Middlesex, just a stone's throw from Canandaigua Lake. When she's not at work and busy being a mom, Jess enjoys swimming, graphic design, crafting, concerts, and exploring the Finger Lakes.

Lindsay Stevens

Lab Technician

Lindsay graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2006 with a BS in Interior Design. She started working at Finger Lakes Dental Care in November 2020. She comes to us with six years of dental experience having been a dental assistant for a traditional practice, as well as a traveling dental program that visited schools. Lindsay's favorite part of being a dental lab technical assistant is being part of the solution in fulfilling a patient's needs whether that's running cases to different offices, adjusting appliances until they're perfect, or building something from scratch.

Lindsay and her husband Seth have a boston-terrier-pug, Gustav (Gus for short). Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys going to pop culture conventions and has gone to New York Comic Con multiple times. She enjoys making costumes and props for cosplay using various material from fabric to foam to pvc pipe and floor mats. She enjoys reading, painting, drawing, watching HGTV, and playing the piano.

Sam Geisel

Lab Technician

I came to FLFDC after 4 years of active-duty service as a Dental Corpsman with the Navy. In my years of training and serving, I have learned many skills from across all of the dental world as a dental assistant for everything from general dentistry through most of the specialties that come along the way. I believe the dental lab world is a mixture of life’s three most fulfilling subjects; art, science and engineering. I enjoy cooking the most intricate recipes I can find, dogs, adventures, tattooing, and I am known most of all for my growing love of avocados.
